RAISING BRAND AWARENESS ACROSS FIELDS TO CONVERT CONVERSATIONS TO SALES

The Challenge

In the Winter of 2022, SessionGuardian, a cybersecurity company that provides continuous identity verification technology for enterprise organizations, was gearing up to participate in the annual trade show, Legal Week. The show itself is an event that gathers thousands of legal and compliance professionals, who network, share information and trends in the field. 

SessionGuardian knew that they would be hosting two booths at Legal Week, but were uncertain how they would capture the attention of attendees. They called on Muhlenhaupt + Co to design their booths, slogan, and ads in order to raise brand awareness of SessionGuardian among the legal and compliance fields, and to create engaging materials that will help strike conversations that the SG sales team can convert to leads.

The Process

Muhlenhaupt began this project from a single slogan that the client founded encapsulating: “Trust, But Continuously Verify.” From there our team immersed themselves in the physical experience of Legal Week in order to articulate what kind of branding and booth experience would attract and retain value legal professionals to SessionGuardian. 

The M+Co creative kept these questions and assets close in their minds while they worked collaboratively to develop a new visual concept for SessionGuardian. The main feature SessionGuardian wanted to communicate during Legal Week was their continuous identity verification security solution (CTA), a product that helps remote workers defend sensitive information from anyone looking over their shoulder, or taking a picture of their screen with a mobile device. However, they were having trouble communicating that CTA does not continuously record the user, or store information once the solution is activated.

To accomplish this, the M+Co team looked into the background of the most common SessionGuardian users (who they are, where they work remotely, what their privacy concerns may be), and from there developed imagery that reflected their professional lives.  The designers then overlaid those scenes with color-coded images to demonstrate via a static image what information SessionGuardian’s CTA was capturing and what it wasn’t. 

The visuals created an immediate understanding to anyone who passed how effective SessionGuardian’s CTA is for protecting one’s work AND privacy.

Problem Solved

Muhlenhaupt made SessionGuardian’s Legal Week dream a reality. Not only did M+Co create a sleek branding that adorned SessionGuardian’s booth, and banners around the event itself, but M+Co also created an immersive experience for legal professionals that saw high foot traffic and retention at the SessionGuardian booth. 

After studying competitors and performing audience research, the M+Co writers created custom one-pagers tailored for each of SessionGuardian’s specific audiences in order to create a personable link between every Legal Week attendee.

While the future is unpredictable, our creative team stayed nimble to the changing world by creating a secondary SessionGuardian experience in conjunction with the primary direction in case the conference became remote due to the Omicron wave of COVID-19 in the winter of 2022. 

However, the legal community experienced, in person, the full scope of SessionGuardian’s abilities: a software that mitigates breaches, enables document protection, and creates a safe working environment in a work-from-anywhere world. The designs created for SessionGuardian were so well received by the audience, that SessionGuardian incorporated them into a permanent campaign beyond Legal Week 2022.
