The Challenge
Volumetric Building Companies (VBC), is a modular construction company headquartered in Philadelphia, PA with a global reach, focused on building the future by providing high quality, sustainably produced buildings in less time across varied market sectors.
During our year long partnership, The Moving Company served as VBC’s fully immersed, yet outsourced marketing team - working hand in hand with the director of marketing and marketing manager to consult on strategy, propose new lead generation and brand awareness concepts, and deliver on executional design and content work - essentially having a hand in almost all internal marketing team initiatives.
The Process
Utilizing The Moving Company as VBC’s outsourced marketing gurus allowed for a full team of professionals at VBC’s disposal - a team with a wide range of skill sets at that: from copywriting to graphic design to SEO strategy - all under one roof. In this type of partnership, VBC inherently received access to The Moving Company’s arsenal of client and campaign insights, reporting benchmarks, trends and conversations from B2B organizations across industries.
One of the larger projects that The Moving Company took on was the creation of a marketing funnel strategy for both VBC’s modular construction business, as well as their Cabinet components business. We created comprehensive resources inclusive of SEO architecture, keyword research and bidding, SEO power page roadmaps, SEO article calendars, proposed site navigation updates, and content downloadable concepts - all with the goal of helping VBC build an engine that is consistently publishing content to nurture leads, demonstrate industry leadership, and most importantly, create a site that gains search presence on Page 1 across the board for our most profitable keywords and search terms.
For our Cabinets-specific campaign, we developed a library of assets ranging from LinkedIn, Google, and retargeting ads, content-specific landing pages, organic social posts, as well as proposed email drip sequences and downloadable concepts. We monitored and optimized this campaign on a bi-weekly basis, providing insights and recommendations based on performance - and refreshed or adjusted accordingly for the best results.
Problem Solved
We’ve delivered hundreds of thousands of ad impressions through multiple iterations of our campaigns, resulting in significant value in VBC’s pipeline. VBC’s social channels have also seen significant spikes in growth in both following and engagement, clearly beginning at the inception of our partnership.
